John: Hi guys, good to meet you. Firstly, could you tell me if you like tea?
Tom (singer): Yeah, in fact our first album was a theme album called "Tea Time
for Jesus". The theme was that if we all enjoyed our tea and crumpets
on a sunday afternoon, the world would be a more...like, a better place,
like Jesus wanted.
Neil (Drummer): Yeah, Jesus would dig us enjoying tea and crumpets with our fellow men.
John: That's
just swell. So, the important question then guys. Sweet or Savoury toppings?
Neil: Well,
personally I've always been a fan of Maple Syrup on Crumpets, but I'll
be giving it up for Lent as I consider my faith, and how Mapel Syrup
is the most important gift of all.
Tom: I much prefer cheese on mine. A heathen recently tried to tempt me with
cheese and marmite. But I stuck firmly to my faith and resisted temptation.
John: Good
for you. Now, let's talk about your new album shall we? "A crumpet
for the soul". How did you come up with such an inspired title?
Neil: I
think that Gavin (Bass player) came up with that. It just seems to make
sense, you know?
Tom: Yeah, like,
a person without a soul, is like tea time without crumpets.
John: Well, it was great meeting you and I hope the album goes well.
Tom: Thanks
man, peace and crumpets to you. |
